New CKC Non-Member Participation Fee (Effective January 1,2011)
If you missed the message about this new fee, please scroll down for an earlier post, "CKC News".
This is important information for anyone participating in agility, rally, obedience, or any CKC title.

Mat Time Rental is now available at Good As Gold.
Anyone interested in renting the lower (obedience/rally) building to do some extra work with their dog will now be able to do so at a very reasonable rate.
The building is not suited for agility, but is fully matted and ideal if you would like to do some extra work with your dog, practicing obedience, trick training, etc. skills.
The usage charge is $10 per hour, per person. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, email or call Brenda for an available time slot.

CKC News -
The Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) has introduced a "Non-Member Participation Fee" effective January 1, 2011.
A fee for awards and titles will be charged to a Canadian non-member of the CKC. In order to protect the awards/titles earned, the non-member will have the option to become a CKC member or pay the non-member participation fee. Failure to comply will result in all awards and titles being cancelled. All Premium Lists will carry a note stating the fees apply only to dogs wholly owned by non-members and not applicable to CKC members. Payment of the Non-Member Participation Fee or becoming a CKC member will protect all awards, points, titles and legs in the calendar year in which they were earned. The Non-Member Participation Fee is applicable starting at the first event in which the dog earns awards, points, titles, legs and is not prorated.
Please note that the CKC Membership Application and the Non Member Participation Fee form are available on teh CKC website under CKC Services/Forms On-line. If submitting a Membership Application, please ensure that you also complete the Non Member Participation Fee form so that they are aware of the dogs involved.
